The Liberia Chamber of Commerce (LCC) recently concluded a successful technical support mission from Germany’s Senior Expert Service (SES), which took place from February 8 to March 3, 2026. SES, Germany’s largest volunteer organization for retired professionals and managers, has facilitated international expertise transfer in development cooperation since 1983.
During the mission, Mr. Klaus-Dieter Ziehe, an SES expert, worked closely with the Chamber’s Finance Office to provide hands-on technical financial support, enhancing operational systems, improving internal processes, and reinforcing effective financial management practices. The engagement included interactive sessions, knowledge sharing, and practical guidance tailored to the Chamber’s institutional needs.
The mission concluded with an appreciation ceremony, celebrating the collaboration and knowledge exchange between LCC staff and the SES expert. This successful engagement not only strengthened the Chamber’s financial capacity but also highlighted its commitment to institutional development and its openness to international partnerships that support Liberia’s private sector growth.
